Next nap calculator
Two taps: your baby’s age, then when they woke up. The next nap window appears straight away.
Baby woke up. When’s the next nap?

Pick your baby’s age
Then add the time they woke up. The next nap window appears right here.
Through the day
Every nap resets the clock. When your baby wakes, the next wake window starts from that moment, so a long nap pushes the next one later and a short nap brings it forward.
That’s why the answer changes several times a day, and why checking it on a phone you’re already holding is easier than doing the math each time.
Common questions
When should my baby nap next?
Add your baby's typical wake window to the time they woke up. For a 6-month-old who woke at 9:00 AM, a 2 hr to 2 hr 45 min window puts the next nap around 11:00 to 11:45 AM.
What if the last nap was really short?
Start from when your baby woke from that nap. After a short nap, many babies are ready for sleep toward the shorter end of their window.
Should I wake my baby to keep to the window?
The calculator only suggests when the next nap might start. It doesn't set nap lengths or say when to wake a sleeping baby; your pediatrician can advise on that for your baby.
